Bermuda had their first game tonight against Curacao. The score of 22 -0 does not take into account the effort put out by the boys. David Lehman pitched very well for the first 3 innings after which the coaches decided to test the bench, using each pitcher. Several of the boys did reach first base. More of a play by play, pictures and video will be posted tomorrow.
Apologies for those looking for a website link to a live feed. I believe it to be:
It's hard to tell as this site is in the island language of Papiamento. I will try to get a definite answer from the organizers.
I know everyone is very proud. Facing the toughest team for the first game is not easy. Well done boys!!! You have faced the tiger and came through!!!

That was a very tough team fellas. One of the very best Little League teams in the world for the past several years. Arguably the best Little League program in the world. They also beat Puerto Rico 11-0. Go reload and come out fighting. You can do it!
Boys please don't let that first game discourage you. You are ALL good players as well and I understand that the team you played last night was a tough one. Good Luck in your next game and stay in there and play hard DON'T give up! You are true Champions as well.
K.J. I hope your doing good and putting your best foot forward to help your team down there. I love you and miss you and the house doesn't seem the same without you. Hugs and kisses K.J.
Lets get the next team boys!

Hey Bermuda players,
Don't let that first game scare you away! Now that all the jitters are out, you'll come back playing even harder.
Kevin, not sure that telecuracao is the correct website. I was on that website yesterday and the game wasn't scheduled on the tv guide. Today's 1 pm Curacao vrs US Virgin Islands doesn't appear on the tv guide either. To watch live tv on that site, you'll need to register and pay a fee. Mac users cannot access via safari but can via firefox.
Cheers! Have a relaxing morning today by the pool before heading out to watch the 1 pm game.
Nice try Bermuda. You did a great job! Let's see if you can give Puerto Rico a tough match!
